Barrow Carnival 2010 this year sponsored by Barrow Borough Council will have a circus theme following BBC's successful Lakes Alive programme featuring Zircus Plus, the Carnival will incorporate the Zircus Plus team to promote the Circus theme.
Zircus Plus have been running classes in circus skills as part of a 3years programme so even more exciting things to come ,with Barrow being at the for-front of Circus skills.
The Bay Radio Road Show is in the Courtyard from 1.15pm, with an impressive line up of artists and Forum 28 is hosting the Dance Competitions from 9.30am with two sessions in the morning and a further two sessions from 2pm. Click here to read more!
The line up will be at Duke Street between Ramsden Square and Blake Street, with the parade starting at 12noon from Ramsden Square. The procession will then turn onto Abbey Road then into Dalkeith Street, Buccleugh Street, down to Rawlinson Street, into Cavendish Street, back down to Duke St, before turning up Duke Street to Sidney Street. The parade stops here and events start in the Town Square and Town Hall courtyard until 5pm.
